“When I met Lou about five years ago I was still watching reruns of The Honeymooners on my 36 inch Sony Trinitron and plugging cassettes into a stereo system I bought with my first four figure commission check in the eighties. Soundworks set me up with a pair of 52 inch flat screens, integrated AV controls and a surround sound system that blew my friend the audiophile from Princeton away. (He’s an electrical engineer for IBM who builds his own amplifiers and his speakers cost more than everything Lou did for me.) When he heard my system he said, ‘Whoa, Al finally has meaningful sound.’ Now, I watch big movies with a full home theater sound experience and I control five rooms of music from my computer. Tossed the cassettes and CDs and all the ugly storage solutions I collected over two decades.”
